Goodreads Synopsis:
Takeo's classmate
Mariya is starting to fall in love with him, and Yamato is unsure of
what to do about her new rival! Takeo's birthday is coming up though,
and Yamato wants to make it special. Will she get her wish and have her
first kiss with him?
Review:
I think it just
shows how mature Takeo and Yamato really are, and how confident and strong they
are with each other. After Yamato’s jealousy lessens, Saijo confesses to Takeo,
and he doesn’t waver for a moment. I really like how he handles it, too, making
her feel better, telling Yamato, and even wanting to stay friends.
I wish more series
handled it like this one.
After that, there’s
a Christmas party with some of their classmates, where we see a couple having
trouble getting together. It just shows their age a bit more, because they are
high school students, and most of them are falling in love for the first time.
And then it’s
Takeo’s birthday. Yamato does something for him, and we get a ridiculous first
kiss debacle. It’s unbelievable how oblivious Takeo is, and that only makes the
entire plot more hilarious. And adorable, because how could they be anything
but?
Adorable is what
this series is, and I can’t wait for the next one.
