Goodreads Synopsis:

Beckett Taylor is a murderer. His calling, his craft are destruction and intimidation—whether he wants it that way now or not. He left Poughkeepsie to keep his brothers safe, to keep Eve safe. Set up with happy lives to live, they’re better off without him, right?

But all his willpower crumbles when he hears his brother Blake’s frantic voice on the phone. An unknown enemy has moved in on his old territory, and Livia’s been taken. In an instant, Beckett knows it will take an attack only he and Eve can execute to bring her back. All his self-imposed embargoes are torn to shreds, perhaps along with the new man he’s struggled to become.

“Brother, call Eve. I’ll be there soon.”

In this emotional and action-packed sequel to Poughkeepsie, Debra Anastasia conjures a tale of love at its most raw and ragged. With Beckett and Eve, how could we expect anything less? But even when it’s messy, not magical, true love perseveres. Real love finds a way—for better or for worse until death does part.

Why?:

I am so, so excited for this book. I absolutely loved the first book, and am really looking forward to reading this one. My favorite couple is Livia and Blake, I love them, but Beckett and Eve were second, and I really want to know what happens with them next. They’re so violent and explosive, and it’s sure to be exciting. (Also, I really need to get my hands on a physical copy of the first book, because re-reading digital is just not the same, and the first book is calling to me.)
Secondly, I don’t know where to buy the book? I’m sure you noticed above, because I have absolutely no idea where to get this book when it’s released, and that’s only a couple weeks from now. I haven’t been able to find any links that actually work (like to Amazon, or, um, anywhere else), even on her website, and it’s driving me crazy. I'm wondering if it's only going to be released in e-book (even though it says paperback on Goodreads), and I really hope not. I'm also not sure if this one is self-published, or if Omnific Publishing is releasing it. Goodreads didn't say, and this is only making me even more confused.
Still, I'm excited. And I love the cover.
