married. But will she still feel the same way once Hokuto confesses the
real reason he married her?
Review:
I’m just plain
enjoying this series right now. It’s cute, lighthearted, fun. The humor really
works for me, the characters are well-done, the art is pretty. Maybe it’s
cliché, maybe the heroine is weak/a little too shy, but I don’t really care
about that here. I just like it.
There were some
normal, stereotypical instances here. The two getting thrown alone together,
freaking Chiwa out. The two of them are starting to deal and admit to their
obvious attraction to each other, as well as getting to know each other better,
growing closer. It’s moving at a reasonable, steady pace. The last chapter,
though, included some of Hokuto’s family, and that definitely helped them get
closer. It also developed Hokuto’s personality, and was a nice step to show
that Chiwa is there for him.
I like this series quite a bit. I like the
characters, although I would like Chiwa to mature some more. I like the pace
that the two are moving in their relationship, and look forward to where it
goes in the next volume. I like the humor, and the art. I’m just enjoying it.
